It can be printed in simple black & white throughout right up to full colour printing on every page.

 

However, the most common booklet tends to be a mixture of the two and our most popular products are our Bespoke Colour Booklets which consist of a full colour outer cover but black & white text pages on the inside.

 

We offer "Off The Shelf" booklet styles in A6, A5 and A4 but can also accommodate special sizes as well - such as 210x210mm square.

 

The covers we offer can be either plain bond paper or card, glossy paper or board and all available in various colours and weights.

 

An A5 booklet consists of two or more sheets of A4 paper, printed on both sides, collated together, folded in half and stapled (twin wire stitiched) on the spine. The for-edge is then trimmed off to give a neat flush finish.

 

Each sheet of A4 paper consists of 4 A5 pages, so therefore a 12 page A5 booklet will consist of 3 pieces of A4.

 

If the inner pages are to be printed in black ink then they tend to be either 80gsm or 100gsm white bond paper. Whereas, inner pages which are printed in full colour tend to be printed on gloss art paper which, although slightly more expensive, brings out the colour much better.
